Tamannaah Bhatia Blames Instagram Glitch for Auto-Liking

Bollywood star Tamannaah Bhatia claimed that Instagram liked content from her account without her action.

The actor posted a selfie on her Instagram Story, questioning the platform’s algorithm. “Can Instagram please fix this issue?” she wrote.

Tamannaah expressed frustration over random pages being liked without her knowledge. “People are making news out of it. I have work to do,” she added.

Reports suggested that Tamannaah’s account liked a reel featuring Deepika Padukone. The reel discussed issues like gender pay gap and misogyny.

This incident surfaced as Deepika Padukone faced backlash over quitting filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s movie Spirit.

Tamannaah’s explanation came as online chatter grew around her unexpected “like” on the sensitive content.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first such case involving a celebrity. Cricketer Virat Kohli recently faced a similar situation.

Fans noticed his verified Instagram account had liked a post from a fan page of actor Avneet Kaur.

Kohli later addressed the matter on his Instagram Story, blaming the app’s algorithm for the mistake.

“There was no intention behind it. Please avoid unnecessary assumptions,” his post read.

Both incidents highlight growing concerns over Instagram’s unexplained auto-likes, causing confusion and unwanted headlines for public figures.
