T20 Stars Return for DP World ILT20 Season 4

Dubai: Some of the biggest names in T20 cricket will light up the DP World International League T20 (ILT20) Season 4, starting December 2, 2025, on UAE’s National Day.

The tournament will feature 34 thrilling matches across six teams, with the final set for January 4, 2026. Fans can expect high-octane performances from returning legends and new signings alike.

Star Power Returns

England’s 2022 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup champions are back in action in ILT20. Players like Alex Hales, Moeen Ali, Sam Curran, Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, and Chris Woakes will represent different franchises across the league.

West Indies superstars Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Rovman Powell, Shai Hope, and Sherfane Rutherford will also feature. Shai Hope, the Season 3 Green Belt winner, was named Best Batter of the Tournament.

Additionally, Zimbabwe’s top all-rounder Sikandar Raza and Afghanistan’s pace sensation Fazalhaq Farooqi return after stellar performances in Season 3.

More Firepower Confirmed

The league has confirmed participation from:

Tim David (Australia), known for his powerful hitting

Tim Southee and Lockie Ferguson (New Zealand), both returning with pace and precision

With eight players per team already locked, franchises have completed the first phase of squad selection. This included player retentions and new signings, with deadlines on June 16 and 30.

Key Team Updates

Abu Dhabi Knight Riders have signed big-hitters Hales, Livingstone, and Rutherford to strengthen their top order.

Desert Vipers welcomed Andries Gous and retained their core from last season including Curran, Hasaranga, Ferguson, and Lawrence.

Gulf Giants, the Season 1 champions, added Moeen Ali, Azmatullah Omarzai, and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, marking a fresh start for their campaign.

MI Emirates added depth with all-rounders Chris Woakes and Kamindu Mendis. Woakes previously played for Sharjah Warriorz.

Sharjah Warriorz boosted their lineup with Sikandar Raza, Tim David, Maheesh Theekshana, and Saurabh Netravalkar.
